”Apa” or “Apashka” in Kazakh language means - granny. That’s how people address a shaman woman that is living in Ungurtas village, Kazakhstan. Apa is a sufi, she calls herself the last dervish of Kazakhstan.

Three young brides, Sidaba, 11, Qawla, 12, and Galiya, 13, are escorted to their husbands’ nearby home. The sisters and cousin married three brothers during a combined ceremony in the rural areas outside Hajjah, Yemen. Nearly half of all women in Yemen were married as children. Child marriage is outlawed in many countries and international agreements forbid the practice yet this tradition still spans continents, language and religion. edit: I need to fact check their statistics, but child marriage is clearly a violation of human rights.
